I have a 2011 GMC 2500HD with the 6.0 gas. I have just shy of 60,000 miles on it. I get anywhere from 15-17 MPG on the highway. 13-14 in town.

I love my 2006. If you are looking for a reliable good truck then this engine is awesome. If you look in auto trader, craigslist or whatever you always see them for sale with 200k plus miles that should say something right there. Of course expect to put a transmission in around 180k miles but not sure of any truck that doesn't need that. Yeah yeah gas mileage isn't very good but ehhhh gas is pretty cheap right now anyway. I would get another if I needed it.
