Who makes the best aluminum jon boat?

You need to figure out what your really going to do with a boat? Do you jump stumps in the river or just put around the lake? Theres no reason to buy new when you can get good deals on used that are like new. Watch for "hook" dents in the bottom, cracked transom welds, bent sides, rotten wood if it has any, normal stuff on the trailer, and run the motor in a lake if it has one

This is my 18' Weld-Craft with 90hp Etec. It hauls my family of 5 around just fine. New they run around $26K with an aluminum trailer. Used they will run you around $13K depending on the year.


This is my flounder guide buddies new 20' custom boat powered by a 150 Mercury. Its completely custom. He's got around $45K in it.

Long beach custom boats.

17/60 tunnel hull, all 1/8" construction. It's a true custom boat built to my specs from the rake to the side heights to the layout. And it was still cheaper than the other cookie cutter custom boats.

Its not a Boatright. Its a Long Beach Custom Boat. In my opinion they are better and a lot cheaper than a Boatright.
