Sorry I have put this off for such a long time.

I truly believe in the power of prayer and the guys and gals on this site do such a great job praying and lifting up those who are in need of prayer! Thanks

Bubba completed all the therapy at Bayor in Dallas and doing alot better, he got his driving licence back and is keeping busy around the house with a garden and other projects. His left arm is not 100% but it is slowly getting better.

Sorry I have not updated this post. Bubba has recovered from the accident ( Thanks to the numberous prayers ) but he still has some memory and fine motor skills problems.

Before the accident we did numberous things together and now we touch base about once a month. The brain injury changed him and we are not as close as we used to be. It has been very hard on me to "loose my best friend" and hunting buddy, I am still thankfull he is alive and there for his wife and kids.

Guy's we take so many things for granted and do not really value friends and family until it's too late and they are gone.

Life is just a vapor.

Update: Since bow season is just around the corner I thought it would be a good time to update this post.
Please use your safety harness if you are hunting from a tree or elevated stand!

I will be 5 years since the accident this October. Bubba is better as time seems to help with the type of head injury he suffered. Bubba is able to do a little home remodeling work which keeps him busy. He still has short term memory problems and is unable to withstand too much cold or hot weather. We still stay in touch but have little in common with each other as he has no desire to shoot and hunt like we did before the accident.
