Anyone else seeing hummingbirds?

Love them hummers. We planted Jack Beans last year and they really worked them purple flowers over. They liked them so much they slowed down on my 4 feeders. Once the Jack Bean flowers were gone they moved on south. We also had zinnias and other flowers they like but they preferred the Jack Beans or Hyacinth bean. These are great to plant along fences or a trellis.

I'll look into these, I'm about to build a lattice structure around my propane tank and was looking for something to plant around it.

Saw my first two arrivals this morning, put the feeders out a couple of weeks ago.

I have one that shows up early every year and buzzes me when I am outside until I put out a feeder. He reminds me every year when it is time to start feeding them.

Mine has been out for a couple of weeks now.

This time of year about a week for me, it just depends on tempature and humidity, you don't want the feed to begin fermenting or growing mold. I try to put out enough feed to last them a week or less. Mixed 3 cups this morning to fill 2 feeders, I'll adjust next weeks volume as needed.
