Crappie Bash 4?

I am interested. Would a narrow 14' jon boat with a 6hp be large enough or is there too much open water/rough water. Sounds like a great time.

There's a few creeks with boat launches to keep out of the open water. I took my 14' x 38 Jon last time. Had motor probs. So I just used my troller to fish the creek we put in.


Brian, got it on my calendar. Not sure I can go this year. Hoping to make some changes soon.

That's a good idea! I gotta fish Texoma this year. Didn't think about the Okie license. I have no idea if Beavers Bend is even there anymore with all the rain!! We had a blast there last Feb. My only time there.

BB is still there, fly shop remodeled after the flood. River has completely changed but I hear it is fishing better than ever!

Looks like they're hoping to have the park open by Valentines from the flooding after Christmas. Bummer! Thats a cool place! I'm gonna list myself as a maybe! Out the first 2 weekends of April for other stuff and gotta take little man to shoot a turkey sometime. But he love's fishing. Fork and Palestine is usually smoking then too. Good to have decisions I guess!

There are minnows between camp and the boat ramp. Tip jigs with minnows under a slip bobber for best results.
