Portable Buildings for Hunting Cabins

How many of you guys are using portable buildings for hunting cabins? I'm so tired of the mice(terrible this year in T'morton county) tearing up my camper. I've managed to keep them out of the inside, but they are constantly getting up in the underbelly of the trailer. I was curious if you have good luck keeping the pesky critters of the buildings.

anywhere there is a 1/4' crack a mouse can get in. I doubt you keep them out of portable buildings either

I built my own 2 years ago. I have a thread in the DIY section of my build. 2 years and not a mouse one. I have found 2 dead bees. I am sure they got in thru the window unit.

I've been putting mothballs under the trailer...and in the storage areas. Also spray fox urine around the trailer.

Seems to be keeping them away. (They ate through the wires and hydraulic lines on my trailer before that)

I built my own 5 years ago and not 1 mouse has gotten inside. Lease members with campers are full of them. Portable building is the only way to go!

Anybody ever use holding tanks for black or grey water with these portable buildings that are used at a hunting camp ?

Thanks guys, I've used mothballs and fresh cab as well. Its an uphill battle out there this year.

We have a portable building made by Morgan.

Mice were getting in until I started using fresh cab and sealing all food and paper etc in plastic totes.

The below link are some poison stations I built and they have eliminated the outside issues we were having.

It will be a lifelong battle.

Adopt some barn Cats work well give them shelter and water and use a deer feeder to sprinkle a little dry food daily not to much or they won't eat the mousies,been working great for us but we have lost a couple turkey poults

Build out a shipping container, easier to move and nothing get in or out.

We use a 8 x 16 portable Morgan building, we now leave it on a trailer, for easy mobility. Its been on about 6 different leases and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Way better than a travel trailer, no mice and way more useable space. No plumbing in it, but lots of electrical outlets and a window unit. Just use an electric heater for heat, works great.

The mice tearing up my camper is the reason I built out a 20 foot shipping container. I am not sure what the cost for a comparable sized building is, but no bugs, no mice, no water will get in the container. They will get in a portable building. It's just shell and will cost about the same as a portable building to build out.
I put in on a old RV frame and have moved it a few times.
We had a separate bathroom at the old lease and working on a new one now.
