Some of you may remember that back in March I went out to White Sands Missile range to participate in the civilian "heavy" division of the Bataan Memorial Death March ("Heavy" means I carried a minimum of 35# of raw weight (not including food/water) on a 26.2 mile course throughout the range. You can find a recap here.) and today we started our 12 week training cycle in preparation of next years event.
It was chilly, and about 98% humidity this morning. Made for lots of cold sweat.

One change with this years training is that the guy who trained us up last year (And ALL of us completed the march with zero issues, it almost seemed like another training day) is deploying to Honduras next month on a nine month medical mission. So, for what ever reason possessed him, he has asked me to lead the team and run all the training rucks.
So I guess that means that instead of making snide comments about his route selection and zero sense of direction, I'll be the one everyone is poking fun at.
Great.
