Honestly do we need to worry about snakes? I have only been attending this hunt for 4-5 years and it has always been cold.

I hope not. I left my snake boots at the lease because I thought it would be cold.

It's been warm in the afternoon here lately. They will come out to warm up in the afternoon. Bring your snake boots.

Its been warm but still cold enough in the bottoms to keep the snakes asleep...me thinks. My snake barometer is whether the eggs below my chicken coop get eaten or not. I cant get to them but snakes can...eggs still there...likely no snakes. But God is funny...they might already be in the trees shedding.

The tele number I posted is wrong...I dont ever call myself.

Bring the perch but there's a ton of shad in the river right now.

Anything bigger than a minnow is considered food, so NO! Bring a cast net or some really small hooks...
