Same with Sakcrete, spin it from the feeder and you'll have a beautiful circular foundation in no time.

I thought so too, but I have shot a ton of animals over a concrete feeder pad. I can remember two arrows sparking, and a hand full of damaged broadheads, but never a broken arrow.

I've used QuickCrete before and got marginal results. Eventually, the hogs manage to root it up and push it out of the way. I've got one chuck that probably weighs 25-30 lbs. that I push back under the feeder every weekend, and the next time I'm out it's been moved again and the mud holes even bigger.

Going to have address this issue soon. Looks like its a split between quickcrete and hog panles. Any downside to the panels?

Seems to me that moving it to the next tree would be the easiest and cheapest solution

If it move it in the feed pen, there will just be another hole shortly. I'm guessing that if I already have a hole there, the best bet would be to fill with quickcrete. If I decide to move, I'll try the panel option

I was thinking about the same thing as I sat staring at a feeder all weekend. The pigs have just started creating a hole but I know what is coming. I don't want to move it because that just would be a temporary solution. I thought about using Quikcrete but I also thought about treated plywood. I would take a full sheet and drill holes around the edges so I could stake it out with those long spikes that look like nails. Reckon that would work?

We've had good luck with cattle /hog panels under ours.

Yup. My cows and truck don't wallow, just walk/ drive through mud and it sticks to the legs and tires. Before long, we have a shallow area that fills with water, then it gets bigger and deeper.

May just be cheaper to rent a Mexican backhoe and just fill it back in with dirt!!
For me, it's easier to just move a few feet over, but mine are winch up tripods.
