Yeti is suing them for patent infringements and other stuff.

If and when that goes through Rtic will have plenty of cash in the bank from sales to cover them. I doubt it ever will though.

On another note: has anyone seen the other cup made by Boss? The only difference is the lid. Same material, it has the seal but it has a slide opening on the lid like a tumbler. Pretty cool. The cup itself is identical to a Yeti & Rtic. I saw them at a marketing business in Corpus. The guy told me they are having the same issues with delivery. The cost for the 30oz with a ceramic logo on the cup is $19. [emoji33]

This is what happens when you make things in china: that same factory will sell your designs to other people (or sell it themselves).

The case is YETI Coolers, LLC v. RTIC Coolers, LLC, Case No. 15-CV-00597, pending in the Western District of Texas.

The case is still open. Latest filings that I saw were from January 19th, 2016.
