    WorkSharp

WorkSharp knife/blade sharpener.....Anyone have one? Do you like it? It's a Christmas present idea. You can't rely on the reviews from the same site that sells them..lol

BowPro73, I do and I really like it, make sharping really fast and easy. My only draw back is it is very easy to take the point off a knife, but they could just be me.

Love mine and would highly recommend. I've always been horrible at sharpening knives, and my Worksharp is one of my better gear investments in the last couple of years.

I love my work sharp. Best sharpener I've owned.

I have also noticed that the tips don't stay on some knifes. I believe its the way I sharpen though.

It has it's pros and cons. I like it because it's fast and easy to use but if your not careful you can ruin a knife in a heart beat. The biggest problem with it that I have found is it tends to roll the tip of the knife.

I've been looking at the worksharp and warthog. They both have good reviews but the worksharp seems to have more users.

great sharpener. but you have to be careful when pulling your knife through or you can take the tip right off.

I got mine for Christmas last year and I love it! Just be careful with the knife tip.

There seems to be a common theme.

I don't think I'd shy away from one though.

I have both. Worksharp is faster and you can use it on tools. Warthog is slower to sharpen but can put a much finer edge on a blade.

I love mine and still have a tip on my knives. Lol. Not sure how that happens.

I have one and they work well, but I would suggest practicing on an old kitchen knife or something until you get the hang of it. For whatever reason I get a better edge with my Warthog
