I have been shooting a Nikon D5300 for about six months now. I have the 18-55 and 55-300 lenses. Works great for taking a very wide variety of pictures. I was shooting a old Canon Rebel XT before I bought the Nikon. I like the Nikon a lot better, especially with the movable screen on the back of the camera.

Both the 70D and the D5300 have multi-position screens, and wifi which are functions I want. I know the quality of video the D70 takes don't know about the D5300 but I can just buy a camera body with the D5300 since I already have Nikon glass. I guess I just need to see some video from the D5300 to help me decideComment
