Have over 2500 miles in my 2009 ranger crew. Trap out of it, hunt out of it. whatever i can. Very smooth riding and well built. They are pricey brand new especially when you rig them out. With that being said you get what you pay for.

If it's just me and nothing else I like the Atv. If I have to carry stuff i go with the sxs. I have a Kawasaki teryx and had to move a lot of equipment on lease this past year. I pulled a 10 ft trailer a total of 100 miles on a tank of gas. Plenty if power crossing River and up hills. Only negative is it tops out at 45 which may be best for me.
Now is the time to start looking for year end specials. I bought my sxs with lift and bigger tires for less than any other brand basic model.

I've had several atv' just bought a ranger crew for our new place on the coast which has been under water since October. They have stuck every single truck they have taken back there with exception of a 1/2 ton Chevy jacked up with 37's but he's going to blow that thing up before season ends he's got it floored going turtle speed. The 2 rangers and 1 mule still struggle in places but nothing to bad. There's no way anyone could talk me into an atv again after having a ranger. Atv can not do what the ranger can as far as people or load plus there's no way possible the nilgai we shot last week is fitting on any atv
