Best boudin in the Houston area?

    If I lived in/near Houston, and had to have REAL boudin, I would take my rear to Lake Charles. If Sackets is still open on Hwy 49, that is the only place I would buy.
    Been a few years since I was last in Lake Charles, 6 to be more exact, but if those folks are still around, Texas anything has nothing on real cajun cookin...

                        Been in Houston 25 years and have tried them all. I still import mine from back home. Even after 6 months in the freezer nothing from around here even comes clsoe.

                                Market Basket's smoked boudin is my favorite chain store boudin. They make a pepper jack cheese smoked boudin now too. That stuff is legit.
