Valley is the part of the draw cycle where your are dumping into the let off. A bow with a nice valley kind of surprises you in a pleasant way once you get past the stiff part of its draw. The hard back wall is referring to when the bow is at full draw and you exert more pressure, if that is mushy or like you're pulling into a wall. A lot of people love a really solid wall as it is more conducive to shooting with back tension.

Ok. That seems like a great deal to me. This next bow will only be my second bow as well. I have shot my Diamond Dead Eye for 3 years and I still love it, I just want a new one. I went to a shop planning on buying a Bowtech Prodigy and didnt like it when I shot it. That is when I shot the Nitrum Turbo and really liked it.

I shot the Nitrum Turbo and loved it. I also shot the CS Turbo and loved it too. I went with the CS Turbo because I've been wanting one of Hoyt's carbon bows for a long time. I don't think you will be disappointed going with the Nitrum Turbo, is a very shootable speed bow.

The Nitrum Turbo is a great bow that produces big speed; however, it comes at a cost. It has a short valley (especially in the #2-but it makes a little more speed) The draw cycle is aggressive and you have to stay into the wall or the thing will snatch you up. That being said I love it and I bought one several months back. The Nitrum Turbo is the best "speed" bow I have ever shot and I'm sorry to say I do not see the Defiant series as a great improvement other than the optional limb stop that is offered on the 16's. That's even not that big of a deal with a properly set-up Nitrum with cable stops which has a respectable wall.
