LG and Uverse are not friends.

Wish they still made plasma. Our old LG plasma still has a better picture than our newer Sharp and Samsung TV's.

Different TV's are going to look better to different people so as far as picture quality you can only go by what your eyes prefer. Features, reliability, etc are what the various customer reviews will help with. Also look at the number of plugins. If you have an XBox and surround sound those HDMI ports can disappear quickly.

I think you are going to be glad you bought the sound bar- it is an addition that is well worth it, IMO.

so far we like it. kid loves watching his cartoons on it. the first words he said when we turned it on to his show was "WOW"

I thought the bigger tv would make me a better videogame player.......it doesn't. I still suck

one of the big deals when I was talking with the best buy guys was that we do not have and will not have fiber to our house, so is the 4k worth the investment. my thought, if I had not seen this TV, is no and we were just going to go with the normal 1080p tv. The guys kept trying to upsale me on the 4k. we are very happy with our purchase for sure.

We bought a 60" Vizio 4k ultra this summer with a JBL soundbar and Bluetooth sub. We love it. I have found a few programs in 4k on Netflix and the pic is outstanding. There should gradually be more programs in 4k.

We've been looking at TV's since the Spring, and the Samsung consistently has the best picture at the stores we've been to.

We recently bought a 60" Samsung and for the last week I have been messing around with the picture settings trying to get it to look as good as it did in the store - not there yet. I found a few tutorials online but I still do not have it dialed in just right.

Usually you can Google your tv model calibration settings and it will help a lot. Also, if you are trying to make your picture look like it did at the store, make sure you are using a blu ray player, hdmi cables, and the lighting is not harsh. If you have 4k and it looked better at the store it's because ideal viewing of a 60" 4k is 3 feet lol. If you are sitting over 8ft away the human eye gaines no benefit from 4k (20/20 vision w/60" tv)

Also, Vizio seems to benefit from picture calibration more than any other tv. If you buy one and it looks terrible just do the calibration.

I unfortunately was recently (2 weeks ago) in the market for a new TV... I stopped a fall on our 65" 1080P 120hz Samsung Smart TV and "squeezed" the edge just a tad bit too hard... cracked the glass under the screen Couldn't find an exact replacement. I loved the TV, but being a year old the technology was "old" already I wound up with a Samsung 4K-3D-120hz-65" and it has a really "WOW" picture. I would only buy Samsung or Sony and got the best deal on the Samsung, so that's what I went with... After reading on this thread about "tuning"... hope I don't mess things up, but I gotta tinker a bit. I guess if I mess it up too bad, I can always call the Geek Squad...
