What kind of goats are these?

I've never goat hunted and have no idea. Just talked to the landowner and he has no idea where they came from. I'm just wondering if they are domesticated or wild.

Probably wild. I see two white ones, a black one and a white and black one. They make good tacos and jerky.

If they are not the land owners then I would call them wild goats,....the kind you shoot!
      Kinda looks like Spanish goats?

Wild spanish goats. Better not shoot till you talk to the game warden and he talks to all the land owners within 10 miles.

The landowner's son is going to start checking with the neighbors tomorrow.

I'm not hungry enough to start killing goats and I certainly don't want to kill someones livestock.

            Thanks for the replies.

Buddy of mine had a place in Junction and started seeing a few goats 15 or so years ago. That few goats turned into tons of goats and they turned into pests quickly. If you get the green light take them out!

They are not much for tablefare unless you shoot a small one. Even then I would rather have a little hog.

If you can throw a glass of water at the fence and one drop gets through.....so will a goat. They look like all males ,They're probably out cruising for babes!

Any of them are edible, in a pot. Slow and low will make almost anything good. Just check with locals first. Hate to end up shooting some one's billy that may be worth to much. I do agree that they look more like Spanish goats to me.
