Biggest tire that will fit 2004 F250 with 2" leveling kit

    I am currently looking at a 2004 F250 w/low mileage.

the trucks stance and tire size are things i would like to change if i buy it.

this is new territory for me, so a few things:

    1. school me on leveling kits for the front end
    2. what size tires would fit on the stock wheels after leveled (2")
    3. if i wanna go with wider tires, recommend some over sized wheels/tires for this truck

    I had nitto's on my 05' they were metric but measured 34.5 x 11.5 x 17.

i think they were 325x85x17 or something close to that. they fit nicely. The front leveling kit is just a spacer that will go at the top of your front springs.

      thanks....

haven't seen the '04 in person yet, but i believe it has 16 wheels.

have a picture of your truck?

Not always a spacer, check out the Bilstein 5100 leveling kit

'04 superduty trucks had leaf springs up front, not coil springs. You can probably get a leveling kit for $200-400 depending on brand. My suggestion would be a 285/75-16. You might be able to squeeze slightly bigger, but that is a great tire size to increase stance and looks, without looking funky or creating front end problems down the road. Check out powerstroke.org. It's great forum for superduty trucks and you can get more info than you could read in a lifetime

I have 285/75-16's on my 1999 F-250 and they give it a good stance without sticking outside the fenders.

Look into Procomp 22210 springs. 2" lift, better ride than the stock worn springs. I've got a set on my 02 and run 315s (35s). They run slightly on the back plastic fender well, but I just cut the part off.

Is your truck 2x4 or 4x4?

you could fit 35x12.5 tires under a 4wd f250 w/ a leveling kit on aftermarket wheels 9.5-10" wide.

                            will look into those...

really been looking at the profile of the 305/70R16 and like them, but would need new wheels...

so, i have been looking at the moto metal 90951's.

some toyo open country on the moto metals would look sweet, imo...

the 305/70R16 are almost 33" x 12" and they should fit with a 8" wide wheel

                              Diameter inches (mm) 32.81 (833.4)
                              Width inches (mm) 12.01 (305)

                              the 04 f250 stock wheels are 16x7 i believe...
