the 305/70R16 are almost 33" x 12" and they should fit with a 8" wide wheel

    Diameter inches (mm) 32.81 (833.4)
    Width inches (mm) 12.01 (305)

    the 04 f250 stock wheels are 16x7 i believe...
I apologize, should have read better. You could fit 33"s all day with a leveling kit

I'd level it and throw some 285's on it.

        I've got 315/75R16, basically 33s, on my '02 4x4 with a 2" add-a-leaf in the front.
        I don't rub at all.

My brother has 33s on his without any front lift.
He rubs slightly on the fender lining when turning all the way in either direction.

i am finding a ton of coil spacers for 2004 f250 super duty's.

Your 2wd may have coils. 4x4's have leaf springs

really been looking at the profile of the 305/70R16 and like them, but would need new wheels...

so, i have been looking at the moto metal 90951's.

some toyo open country on the moto metals would look sweet, imo...
Since your truck is 2wd, you'll have coil springs up front, not leaf springs like mine. I'd look into a simple coil spacer because they're cheap and throw on some 285s (33s). I have 10" wide wheels, but you can get away with the stock 7" wides for the 305s if you're set on those. I run Duratracs and they've lasted me 47k so far and still have plenty of tread, which is impressive on these heavy trucks.
