    Does He Make 13"?

In a box blind scouting for Nathan's youth hunt in the morning. It's a new property we picked up about a month ago. Pretty much everywhere I've hunted the last 10 years is MLD, so I've actually never paid attention to spread, only age. This guy fits the age part, but does he go 13"? I'm almost embarrassed to have to ask.

Yep, ears back have been the downfall of more than a few folks.... Especially from behind, but with the ears being about 4-1/2" long, each and 5-1/2" from outside edge of the eye to the same point in the opposite eye ( all on average) I'd say he goes 14-1/2" to 15" IMO

easiest way for alot of people to tell is when the ears are out straight and the horns are past the point of the ears you can bet hes over 13"
