Went and done a little more scouting with rjet this morning before work. We found a little deer sign but we also found one heck of a spot in Sandy to hunt cattle. So if bovine is on your list boy do we have a spot for you.

That was a heck of a cow trail, has to be a wall hanger making those tracks. I am hunting that thing, get a lot more meat off that cow than any deer out there. Plus will be real relaxed in the stand after eating some of those mushrooms growing from its scat.

Just got home from a 4 day trip with dad to Gus Engling WMA

Now most of my stuff is in need of a wash and re pack for this weekend

I did get to try out my Millenium, wish I had bought one years ago

My plan is to arrive at Paradise Cove Wed afternoon and get camp set up

That the "pink & black" striped ribbon?
Someone went thru a bunch of it in Godwin.
                      I'm not following that line.

Amazing how different things look after the flooding,
and all the interesting junk scattered.

More rain could make for some tougher sledding out there.
Remember your Thermacells, Mosquitos were BRUTAL Friday!

Yes, there was fresh cow tracks and crap in the cow trails. Don't know if they are still getting on there but they have been very recently.
