Saw that deer on both my sits. never could get a shot off. The gentleman that shot it was hunting a right in my area on Seg b.

Stay the course! Do not exit your tree! You'll be sorry if you do. I had deer moving at all hours of the day. Bring a bottle for pee and a Wal Mart bag for poo and ride that baby out. Go get'em!

Lol thats funny! This thread is awesome because this is real hunting. No feeders, cameras, and etc.. Just show up get ready and hunt!

Im actually doing a job out there right now and have been talking to all the fish and wildlife guys. This is going to be a good year, he said they have counted more deer this year than they ever have and lots of big deer.. well to use his exact words "there are lots of MONSTERS this year" good luck guys. My lease is about 1.5 miles from there and Ive been getting lots of mid day pics lately so like they said above these should be 5-5 sits. Looking forward to the pics!!

Talking with Rick during the qualifying shoot he remarked that the last time the refuge flooded like this they saw an increase in the number of big deer killed.
