Did you get the barrel key lock or the 3 or 4 digit one?

not saying that I will never get broken into, but the thieves will not walk away with anything of value.
if I am traveling and have valuable things in/on the truck, then there is someone staying at the truck until I get back.
Just curious while you are traveling, do you leave anything of value in your house?
It just as easy for a thief to break into your home.

DON'T LEAVE GUNS IN VEHICLES!! Little common sense goes along way. If you choose to leave you wallet so be it that won't kill innocent people. If you have CCH carry it if not leave it at home when you plan on leaving a weapon unsure. Sheep or sheep dog.

I have the Jimmy jammers, and a viper alarm with glass break alert. Now you guys have me thinking about the console vault.

On my 09 ford f-150 thieves punched the lock and still couldn't figure out how to get door open, so then they tried to pry door open and then ended up breaking out the rear passenger window all to get an empty satchel I used to bring things into work. Had a 200 dollar felt hat next to it they didn't touch. So if they want in they will find away.

Those jerks. I can't stand a thief. I'm the worlds worst about leaving my truck unlocked altogether so I can't dog on ya. Locks don't always stop them anyways I guess. Last Spring someone broke into my old truck which had nothing valuable in it. My new truck was unlocked and the passenger side door wasn't shut very good so I know they were thinking about stealing valuable things. Luckily I had over 30 rattlesnakes in a tote in the cab of my truck. Apparently they woke em up when they opened the door because my wallet and rifle were still there. So I guess what I'm sayin is....carry a box of snakes around. You might get lucky and kill 'em without even being there when they break in.

I remember running into the Marble Falls Walmart for 5 minutes to grab something, then coming out and finding the locked truckbox broken open and a toolbox stolen. It had a bunch of hand tools that had belonged to my late grandfather. Man, there are no words...
