I was in Addison at Beltline and Monfort. Parked in the parking lot and went inside, waiting on a couple friends. My truck is a 2015 F250 that I bought in July. I parked several spots away to avoid the inevitable door ding. This is a busy lot and at 4:00 in the afternoon. My buddy calls me and says my driver diver side door is wide open. I thought he was screwing with me. Sure enough, they punched the key lock to the door and got my wallet and pistol out of my console. After the cops showed up he ask me to look in back seat to make sure nothing else was missing. Up until this point I had not touched the truck and the driver door is still open, the way I found it. I try to open the rear door and it's still locked. I reach up to the front door and hit the unlock button, reach back and open the rear door and the alarm goes off. How the hell did it not go off when they punched the key hole and opened the door in the first place? Door still functions just fine, locks and unlocks like nothing's wrong. It's my fault for not having more protection for my belongings and making it tougher on them but this ****** me off. Hopefully they'll recover the pistol. $400 in the wallet and the pistol was a Kimber Classic Custom .45 with Hogue grips.

That's a bad move and I don't get the popular belief that our world is that upside down that a pistol must be carried at all times? But to each his own.
