            We will have my wife's loan paid off in December. Only debt remaining is the house and even that is minimal!!

              Got married the exact same day, and it took us 2 years before we got serious about paying them off like you did, glad we did but it puts it in perspective if we would have started the same as you...we could be done as of now?!?! (hard palm to forehead).....oh well congrats man and enjoy!

                This is awesome! My wife and I are on the plan in step two. Two more months and we will be debt free and ready to save up money for an emergency fund and a house!

                    Congrats!!! My buddy overpaid on accident and received a check from Sally Mae.... in the amount of $0.01.... he framed it.

                      Awesome. I wish someone like you would go talk to all these Community College students that take out $10k+ a year. They need to have a plan like yours.

                                yea it helps to know what you are going to spend on school and what kind of salary you could expect. Simple math tells you whether or not you can pay back all those loans being taken out. My wife, in hindsight, realizes that she probably did not need to take out that much.
