Just wanted to share what's been going on this bow season so far and little bit about my experience as a hunter so far. I want to ask the GS what has been frustrating so far this season? What frustrates you about hunting in general?
This season so far for me has been frustrating. Between work being a week to week grind, getting sick, and just not having enough time to properly scout the way I wanted I haven't been successful this year. I realize success is a very loaded word in that it can vary from person to person.
This is my second year with my own lease, I added 75 acres this year and I'm doing my absolute best not to be overwhelmed with everything. I'm trying to break down choke points and be efficient. The land owner has helped me adjust my thought process and overall I feel I have a decent sense of what I'm doing. There's just this deep rooted urge to have something to show for all the time and effort I've put into that place. I don't know if I'm wanting to make up for lost time or just want some satisfaction knowing I did everything right and have get the privilege of taking a animal. From experience I've come to learn hunting ultimately is your ability to handle failure. My patience has grown a lot from hunting. As much as I've grown and learned about the woods, and myself it's hard not to allow myself to get frustrated. I know I don't suffer alone what eats at y'all when hunting In general or this season?
