tracked deer with a dog for a few years. If it is good blood and slowly sarts to thin out and then disappears then probably not gonna find it without a dog. With a dog on a brisket hit they will find and bay them if you want to finish them off. I didnt see the hit but if the deer was quartering and he hit front leg it will be brisket. I always liked when I showed up and guts were on the ground as they were easy finds for the dog.
