Haven't heard any dropping in Montague county yet. My house sits under 2 giant oaks so when the acorns start falling, I know it. Haha

It is going to be a good acorn crop this year which means I can pretty much look forward to rut and muzzleloader season. Deer just don't have to move much - if any. Hoping for a very wet fall.

They started to drop a week before season opener in Lamar co. Looks like it's gonna be a large amount of them to.

started dropping last week up here in north texas, early for what it has been the last couple years. Everyone I talk to is expecting a bumper crop this year. All the trees at the house have started dropping and I'm covered up... stupid dogs are loving it
