I used to live on ESPN. Haven't watched it in several years. A sports network shouldn't have political views. They are in big trouble and know it.

I watch it pretty often as well. Don't watch a ton of TV, but when I do it is sports. SVP's new midnight show is pretty solid, should get better after a few weeks of figuring out what works and what doesn't.

You do realize, when the announce layoffs like this, it's pretty much mostly the internal corporate positions... IT, middle management, editors, web publishers, etc not necessarily the in front of the camera. Those guys get let go on a single case basis.

I do not think Dan will ever be back. He has pretty much washed his hands of espn and is doing well without them.

The new espn is too politically correct and sterile. The old days of it basically being the saturday night live of sports is sadly gone.
