They may as well **** can the whole network as far as I'm concerned. When they gave Whatever Jenner the Arthur Ashe Courage Award, I was done with it.

God I hate skip Bayless. He's such a hack, and bashes Dallas every chance he gets. He forgets where he came from.

here's part of the problem, ESPN's huge rights deals signed within the last 4 years

$15.2 billion over 10 years for Monday Night football (73% higher annually than the previous deal).

$7.3 billion over 12 years for the new college football playoff (480% higher annually than what it was previously paying for BCS bowls).

$5.6 billion over 8 years for MLB (100% higher annually than the previous deal).

$825 million over 11 years US Open tennis (400% higher annually than the previous deal).

$24 billion over 9 years for NBA (300% higher than previous deal)

That doesn't include other deals with specific college sports conferences, golf tournaments, etc ...

compounded with the fact that people are tired of paying ridiculous cable fees and dropping the service

Definitly not the same. I remember when I was younger flipping to Sports Center to watch all the highlight and now with social media and others I dont need SC much less the ESPN channel.

I only watch actual sports on espn. Can you stream watch espn on roku or one of those devices? Basically the only reason I still have cable is for sports.
