I did when I used to go there. Since their major financial backing of the current administration, I have not been.

Would love to know what you do and how you got there

Worked there on and off for 7 years. Also worked at Lowe's, McCoy's, and M&G sawmill in huntsville. I always had two jobs through out my entire college career (2.5 years) decided o was wasting money on an education and went back to the pallet shop full time. Got a call from my cousin and uncle and said the company they do work for was hiring. Went in, got the job, and that's where I'm at now. Good enough? Making tip money won't make you a hard worker. Either you're born with it or not. Sonic people are not entitled to tips. A good work ethic comes from being dedicated to your job and working hard to work yourself up the totem pole. The first 2.5 years I worked at the pallet shop during HS I worked my way past the full time guys and was making more after school then they were all day. I was bringing in $2000+ a month during high school. It was all paid under the table.

Funny... you degrade them for having a job not knowing the circumstances they have the job in, but you won't get off your *** to go get your own food... ironic.
Congrats on all your success.

Congrats on all your success. If they want to make more money than being a drink fetcher, they should learn a skilled trade or have a different job. But you seem to have a misconception about me. I do tip. Not every time, but I do. Not everyone carries cash all the time. And you can't tip using your debit card.

Oh and I'll tip there sometimes, but it's generally just the loose change or an extra dollar or so. Not to mention, sometimes they sling your change back at you so fast, you don't even have a chance to say keep it.
On a side note, a lot of Sonics have drivethrus now, so all can be avoided if you take that route. Well, all except paying extra for that **** cheese on the #1.

That's a lot of typing before you are sure of what I said.
Less than minimum wage. I am not sure how you got waiter minimum out of what I typed.
Last I heard it was from my niece several years ago, she made $3.50/hour plus tips.Last edited by Smart; 08-31-2015, 06:20 PM.
