Who said slick tricks work good for pigs?!

I've now made two great shots on two different pigs with slick tricks. BOTH absolutely no blood trail. Second one, I found the arrow with pretty good blood on it but zero blood trail leading to and from arrow, and it wasn't just a quick search. We were on our hands and knees looking for a good 3 and a half hours...

I got them only because I heard the success others had with them but I have had zero and last night really ticked me off not finding that pig. Anyone else have the same issue with these slick tricks ?

X2. I've had good luck with them. Sucks that you've had 2 bad experiences with them. Just outta curiosity, where were the pigs shot?

How do you know they were perfect shots if you didn't find them

This is what I was thinking. I have shot deer that were "perfect shots" until I saw the film and the deer jump my string. Not being a smart arse, just my experience.

Because I saw where my arrow hit?

Both low tucked in behind the front shoulder..

                    At least blood.

                    My question...
What would your other choice in broad heads exhibit that caused the slick trick to fall short?

Slick trick is all I use

                    Cracked both front legs

Pigs are notorious for not leaving much blood. If you hit him where you say you did he's dead you'll just have to start making circles to find him. I've shot pigs with a rifle that didn't leave much of a trail, it's not the broadheads fault.

I did make good shots, I have no reason to lie??

The first pig I couldn't find arrow and zero blood, searched all around for tracks, blood, broken branches anything.

Second pig I found arrow with good blood, ZERO blood going to and from arrow.. And I've been known for my good blood trailing.

And your question on broad head, last weekend I shot a pig with rage hyperdermic and hit lungs, great cut and amazing blood trail.

I'm either sticking with these or going to xecutioners.

Well if it's not the broad heads fault and I've hit pigs in the same spot but different broad head what else is there ? Same set up, roughly same size pig.

And yeah I know that pig is dead for sure that's what the most irritating thing was and I couldn't find him
