2015 Panhandle Rut/Hunting Report Thread

I took my 5 yo daughter this past weekend for her first "hunt." We just watched the wheat field from my truck on Saturday evening. Sunday I stopped by to pull my card from the camera just before 11:00 am. This guy was hanging right in front my camera as I walked in. He was already on the run by the time I saw him. No shot opportunity, but dang he is big! I can't wait to get back up there next week!

Where you hunt Jed Buck looks very similar to a buck Lloyd posted from NW Kent Co. I say low 130s 7+ years old and 220lbs+

Movement has been slow in garza county. The bucks are starting to get frisky, but the does aren't ready. Most does are tagging one or two fawns still. It should get better with the cold weather.

Yeah, really young bucks pushing does at are place. But still a few weeks a way from real rut acrivity

There starting to chase here in Wheeler. The target buck has g2 and 3 broke off
