I thought there was a thread a while back about camper pricing and what folks were getting off asking price at new RV lots. Did a couple searches and cant find anything.

If an RV is listed at 25k after their rebates or sale price whatever you want to call it what kind of % off have you guys been seeing in this price range?

Should be able to get a 1/4 to 1/3 off sticker. Should be able to pick it up for 18K.

I have bought two in my time. Get to dealers bidding against each other.

Yeah on that one they are showing sticker 31k and "sale price" 25.

What ever you do, do not let them talk you into an extended warranty. They are over priced and their service departments are a joke. You can fix anything on them yourself.

Last year bought a KZ Toy Hauler. Sticker was 29k, sale price was 27k, walked out the door for 18k. Lots of room to come down!!

Look up wholesalers on internet. They will come within $2000 of they say.

I bought one last December and that is how we did it. They started the "let me see what my sales managers bs" and we said this is what we will pay (minus the $2000) and they came close. Only way I could beat the price was go up north and pick it up

How does the percentage off work with used trailers? I'm guessing there is wiggle room as well. Talking 18k range sticker.

Our sticker was 32500 and the sale price was 27499.99. We negotiate to a little over 21k out the door. They were holding strong till I pulled out some emails from a Iowa Wholesaler who had the same one on the lot for 18k. Showed them the correspondence and they said 20k best they could do. We got up and was ready to leave and the Manager asked us to give him a couple of minutes. Came baclk with 19,700 plus TTL. we wanted under 20 and got it!
