I have a 3 foot chunk that weighs 40 pounds that may be worth $200.00.

I saw a whole tree 70 feet tall for sale for 1 million dollars.

      Small pieces are real cheep................

Small pieces ain't worth anything or I would be rich. If you cand find a chunk that is 2ft or bigger then that's when the start becoming of value

It varies greatly based on size, type and most importantly, quality.

Ive seen pieces 4" long and an inch thick with one end cut and polished for sale at the Museum of natural history for 40 bucks. Cantaloupe sized pieces for over 200 bucks

Ive literally got buckets of it at the house. All has come from our family place east of the trinity river. Once piece I actually weighed on a 440lb scale....it tipped it at 163 pounds its prolly 40 inches tall and 2 foot around at the bottom. I usually don't pick it up and bring it home till it takes 2 hands. Ive got several pieces that are over a foot long. I took a fella up there once and he picked up a little piece and was amazed it was just laying there. Its all over the place

I will try and post a pic tomorrow

Wife found it at a garage sale, looks like petrified wood but I really don't know what it is other than super heavy

She paid $1 for it because it "looked neat"

Palm wood makes some pretty jewelry, but not uncommon enough to be of much value.

I've wondered the same thing. I have quite a few smaller pieces and a few I consider to be good sized pieces. They're from a rare Oklahoma Pandhandle tree.....I mean....you rarely see a tree here,so they ought to be worth more.lol That's my sales pitch anyways.
