I was the one who said it wasn't real. I know its real though. Hoping to get someone to stare at the shadows on the squirrel.

I knew I'd seen the picture before I got it yesterday so I've been digging through some old text messages. I found it in a group text and, knowing who took the picture, I'd say that's about as reliable of a source as you can get!

Yes it is real. It is a Timber Rattler-Canebrake-velvet tail all the same snake. Illegal to kill and/or possess. A guy I know killed one and posted a pic to Facebook holding it up and typed "Look what I killed". A short time after the telephone call the pic was gone.

Yes it's real. Squirrels get depressed and commit suicide regularly. They are a bunch of nuts.

Snake would have a hard time digesting after I severed his head from his body.

This is Sam, chomping down on a rat that's almost as big as the squirrel.

Squirrels will actually attack a snake. And I guess they can end up fighting from the inside lol.

Yes. Walked up on a rattlesnake in Eastland county that had a squirrel almost all the way swallowed (nothing but back end and tail left).

Snakes can unhinge their jaw and swallow an animal as large as their skin can stretch without tearing. Used to have pythons when I was a kid and one with a three inch wide head could eat a seven pound rabbit.
