That I bring you this news. I had hoped this day would never come, but here it is. My last piece of quite possibly the best pecan pie ever. It will be hard to say good bye. But I know somewhere in my future, another pecan pie awaits me.

Ever have the Pecan Pie at Gaidos in Galveston? The crust is not a crust at all but rather solid pecans. Served with a scoop of cinnamon BlueBell, its pretty awesome. We had them send some for our wedding and we put them next to the cake, they were a hit.
