I do love someone pecan pie. In fact, my MIL makes a bunch if baked goods every year around Christmas. She always bakes me an extra pecan pie to take home. She hides from the rest of the family so it doesn't get eaten at Christmas dinner. The great news is that neither my wife nor my son like pecan pie. So, I get it all to myself. The only way to improve upon pecan pie, is to put it onto a plate right next to a heaping scoop of vanilla Blue Bell. That, Sir, will melt my butter for sure.
