Oneshotlu has some of the best dogs you would ever hope to hunt around, in fact I don't think I would own a dog myself if I hadn't learned how enjoyable it is to hunt around a great working dog. Keep up the good work and this was a good article

Thanks, Chris! They have their good days and bad days like any. We are thinking about coming up to Lubbock at the end of November to crane hunt, so we'll have to get together and train one day.

I'm in the market for a new pup and been reading a lot for training it. It's been 13 years since I trained my last one. Good read you posted

Thanks Mhageman! A very good (and cheap) training book is Water Dog. I'm sure you've heard of it. Also, my boyfriend completely trained his 4 year old black male by watching duck dog basics and duck dog basics 2. His dog has his Senior Hunter and 1 of 1 master pass, so I would highly recommend those DVDs for when you get your pup. Good luck! -Alex
