Tuning Your Retriever for Duck Season

    Hey guys,

Thought I'd share this article about tuning your retriever for duck and goose season. Won't be long and we'll be teal hunting!

Anybody been out there working on these drills?

15 minutes every morning before work and after work when I get home.
Sage is waiting for me in the morning after I eat breakfast, and at the door when I get home ready to work.

Oh yes, I know the feeling!!! It's extremely hard for me to get up early for anything other than hunting...

I just watched your video, that is fantastic! Have you been working with Kiersten?

That's perfect. I have so many friends that tell me they "just don't have time" to work with their dog! 15-30 minutes a day is all it takes and even less for a young pup.

I have been. Actually her boyfriend has kept my dog for the past couple of weeks working on some advanced stuff and she is responding very good. So hopefully she continues to improve

Good article, it is definitely hotter than hell. Good reminder for everybody to have a plan and supplies on hand in case your dog starts overheating. Scary situation to be in.
