I just can't get use to square toe. Have always worn Justin Ropers. Not as big of a selection now.

Also, I can't bring myself to wear square toed boots. Round roper toe for me.
Here is my pair of beck's. Made from my hippo hide. Well made boot. Did take a while to be broken in and I had to have them stretched a bit. I do think they are a well made boot. Just had to wear them the day I picked them up so therefore the scrubs. Not as comfortable as my Anderson beans but I like them a lot.

I've had just about every factory boot brand. I've liked certain things about each. I rode rough stock in beans and olathes. The olathes are dang comfortable, but my favorites to my foot have been resistol. I wear the $150 square toe Justin's 5-7 days a week for work. Those were the best fitting/comfortable steel toe I could find. To be quite honest if I'm not wearing steel toes, I'm hardly wearing boots anymore. I bought a pair of twisted x driving moccasins for horses sales about 6 years ago that I wear religiously. I've had about 5 pairs of them now. Most comfortable shoe around. I wear some gator resistols for dress occasions. Square toe only. I like my toes to have a little room. Round toe wouldn't be seen in my closet anymore.

Square look goofy to me, but feel great.

I don't even own a pair of dress shoes and nothing in the way of sneakers except my old work out and walking shoes. Wear deck shoes for knocking around the house, but wear dress boots to work every day or work boots when on customer plant or job sites. Most of my dress boots are Lucchesse in various exotic leathers. They are either clip (French) toe or small round toe. Also have some of the old school Tony Lama's in various exotic leathers from when they were made state-side. Most comfortable: Kangaroo. Toughest: Elephant. Favorite any one of assorted Lucchesse's in black cherry. The finish/polish on them is second to none.
