Came across this guy on Youtube, and in this video he states that he practices out to 160 yards. Twice his distance of normal hunting range of 80 yards. Most of my shots are between 20-40 yards. I only practice out to about 50 some times 60 yards. I dont really see a need to practice out more than that only because if I am pretty accurate at 60 yards, I feel I can knock down just about anything I am hunting. Never gave it a second thought to practicing out farther than that. Any of you practice out farther than 100+ yards? Does it build your confidence that much more when hunting in the 30-50 yard range?
