I am trying to be optimistic, but I just don't see how the Cowboys can recover to injuries to both Dez and Romo. If it would have just been Dez, I think Romo could have compensated for that, because he is that good. An NFL team without a good QB, unfortunately, doesn't do well. Look at the Houston Texans: awesome defense, good offensive players, but haven't been able to do anything because they don't have a good QB.

Only positive note is that the Cowboys are 2-0 in the division. They have 5 weeks before they play the Giants again, and 7 weeks before the Eagles. It's possible that Dez could be back for the Giants game, but I expect Romo to miss significant time. I just don't know if there is enough time for Romo to recover and come back to make the playoffs.

I'm thinking Romo will be back before Dez.

Texans don't have an O line. Doesn't matter who their QB, RB, or WR's are. Won't matter. As for the Cowboys, it depends on how long Romo is out. If it's 7 weeks and we go 3-3, they should be okay

Previous clavicle fracture I'm hearing he was ready to go at 10 weeks. If they'd have still been playing at that point that is.

No, but previously breaking your collarbone does, and Romo always goes done awkwardly now in an attempt to protect his back. If you read the IR, you would know Romo hurt his back last week.

I will always consider Demarco as one of the Dallas greats. Emmitt Smith even got traded in the end.
