      You only move them around this time of year with whatever you use. You can actually kill the colony after a heavy rain by applying a good liquid pesticide right on top of the newly formed mound. The queen cannot get deep enough into the wet soil to escape the pesticide.

        Treat mounds with a drench of manure compost tea, molasses and citrus oil, its worked just as well as any pesticide I've ever used, it melts the little buggers exoskeleton.                               Mabie Diatomaceous_earth, it's like ground up glass powder. Ants have an exo skeleton and this stuff gets in between there body parts and just shreds them up. Works for scorpions also. So I've heard, haven't tried it though
