                I fire mine up every chance I get. I will fire it up sometimes in the winter and not even cook anything just to get the heat from my fire box. I love smelling a good pecan / hickory fire. I see no problem firing it up for just two chickens.
                I do however have lots of wood.

                      I've done it for a couple of burgers myself but not very often as I usually put as much on as the pit will take. I do have different size grilles and use the one that best fits for heat distribution.

                      Stoof, I'm doing well. Going to crank that pit up this weekend in Harper that you reconditioned for me. It's been working great. You should try to get over there soon...

                            I could be wrong, but I don't think he meant that he does both at the same time

                            Probably the first on a Saturday and the second on a Sunday. But then again, I could be wrong
