Does anybody not shoot their bow year round?

I have been shooting 50-75 times a day since middle of April 150 times a day on weekends . On March 26 of this year I gave up 1/3 of my right lung to cancer . Three weeks later I started shooting my Recurve on a daily basis for rehab and the love of Archery . TO HELL WITH CANCER.

I shoot mine as often as I can, I enjoy shooting so it don't feel like a chore to me...guess that's one of the advantages with shooting a Mathews ��

I normally don't shoot from Feb-April much as I have two girls and that is "dance season". Anyway, I need to play some catch-up with all the rain.

I did fling a few arrows last week and my muscles were not ready for action.

It is no coincidence that I didn't commit to going all-trad until we were empty nesters. My wife doesn't get home until about an hour after I do - flinging arrows in the back yard with no distractions is how I unwind...

I generally just practice a little after work a week or two before the season starts.

I generally pull my bow out in mid to late August and start shooting a couple dozen arrows an evening or two per week up until the season. None of my setups require shots over about 25 yards.

I used too when I first got into bow hunting but, now every few weeks or if I am bored. I need to start shooting more.

Once my me and my family eventually move to a new house with more land/room outside of city limits I will shoot a heck of alot more. It's just kinda a pain now to pack up all my stuff and head out to my pops house. I haven't in a while but I'll be packing my bow with me out there here soon. Been way too long since I shot. I enjoy shooting just to shoot, it's a great stress reliever for me.

Me and my wife have been shooting a fair amount this year but normally I dont consistently shoot unless I have a hunt planned.

Try to shoot traditional as often as I can year round. Compound is just prior to hunting season and during season.

I am hit and miss (get it?). Some years I shoot a lot and go to archery tournaments every month. Some years I put my bow down in January and don't pick it up until August. This year I'm the latter.
