I spent some time tinkering with my kinetics and the fmj yesterday.. And my kinetics are shooting so good I'm not changing.. Fixed blades flying good and ready to shoot through a moose

You are doing fine. Just a different approach than me. I usually pick the arrow and arrow weight I want then get the bow to shoot it. May try 2-3 heads before a trip to see which one is the winner. I took the solids and helix on my big stuff last year and again this year. I keep going back to the solids.

Ya my problem for this hunt is i was so torn between what arrow weight i wanted.. If It wasn't for the bison i would be shooting a 440-450 grain Injection and I wouldn't have switched so many times.. But Mark was pushing me to be like 500 grains plus. I ended up just splitting the middle with 475..

I understand. My bison arrow was 570 grains but I like them on the heavy side. You are going to be fine. I shot the grizzly bear with a 505 grain arrow and it blew straight through and we could never find it. My bet is that your arrows performs well and you have no problems.

I normally like arrows on the heavy side too. But Since i will have a elk and goat tag too i don't want my bow shooting 250 fps.. Im barely getting 280 with a 475 grain arrow..

280 fps is plenty. Heck, 250-260 is plenty but I understand. My 505 grain fmj injexions are going 280 fps and I am considering hunting with those this year. After the season I'll go back to all carbon and get in the mid 290's. Maybe you should shoot a faster bow!

That's going to be tough to get done! Just remember that God made humans smart enough to develop rangefinders and you own one. You can lob those arrows in if need be.

LOL ya i think speed is way over rated.. I shot my 450 grain arrows compared to my 475 grain arrows and the difference is like half an inch at 30 yards.. Not even enough to tell
