    Stocked the lake finally!!!

Yesterday we stocked 1000 Camelot Bell Largemouths into the lake at the ranch and 800 channel cats in 3 different tanks. Really excited about this project!!! Baitfish has been in the lake 3 yrs now. Which include red ears, cooper nose bluegill, fat head minnows and threadfin shad.

Yes sir. Really excited about this strain. The research and time that has gone into the development is pretty amazing. Pretty much a privatized Share-A-Lunker!!! With the bait fish established like it is we should see some phenomenal growth rates.

water is looking great and keep us updated on the progress. If the water quality and forage stays good you have a good shot at having your own SAL in your future. Heck just having a place where you can go catch 5+ pounders is awesome!

Plan on getting on Fertilizing schedule soon and will be adding shad every spring and fall. Will also supplement the blue gill population every couple of yrs. Depending on growth rate , the plan in year three is to get on a harvest schedule of every fish under 16" must be kept. By year 5 hoping to bump that up to 18". Would love to catch a share-lunker out of it one day!!!

Nice. Have y'all caught many of the copper nose? I'm thinking about stocking my pond with fathead minutes and copper nose. I just want something fun to catch... and being just 1 acre not really interested in bass or catfish.
