All doctors over book these days, I wouldn't mind going as much if I didn't have to wait. I guess their time is more important than mine?

The Dr came in about 2 minutes after I posted this thread. This is the 4th time I've had to go to this dr. He does the injections in my back. The first appointment I ever had took almost 2 hours to see the dr. I informed him and the head nurse then that my time was money just like theirs and that if I ever had to wait more than 15 minutes to see them, they were fired (yes that's a legitimate term) and I would find someone else. Today, after the Dr came in, did his schpeal for 5 minutes with me, I reminded him of our conversation at my first appointment. He acknowledged that he remembered, I promptly told him that would no longer need his services and walked out. I then get a call from my neurosurgeons office asking why I was rude. I told them why, they agreed that it was excessive to make someone wait that long and they understood. BTW, I wasn't rude with the Dr.

Good for you. They forget who they're working for. Reminds me of politicians.

if more people did that maybe it wouldn't be such a big problem. I'm sure in some small towns they don't experience the wait, but in the city its a huge problem. Good job sir for sticking with your promise. I would have walked sooner.

Honestly, the only reason I stayed that long was to personally deliver the message to the Dr himself.
