I know. My surgeon told me the need for readers comes with age and there isn't anything you can do about it.
But I will take readers any day over having to wear glasses or contacts to see distance.

You can get new lenses that will fix both near and far.

Dr. Boothe is pretty much a dud of a dude... and they ran us in there like cattle, in groups, so it wasn't very "personal" but I didn't care. They do a bunch of those procedures and from what I can gather, are pretty good at it.

My wife had Key-Whitman do hers. It was about $4,200 if I'm not mistaken. They were a little more personal and intimate, if you will. More of a one on one type environment.

Either way, we both can see better than ever. I've got 20/15 and her is 20/20.
This is exactly what I experienced with Boothe. I have 20/15 as well now. I had to have PRK one eye at a time. It is still worth it.

                          Lasik Surgery Cost

Best thing I've ever done...EVER!!! $3,300 with insurance, zero % interest for 18 months, Lasik Plus River Oaks

Anyone doubting it for financial reasons should do anything and everything to make it happen. Most life changing event for me personally (no kids yet).

Just left the Dr and I now have 20/20 distance vision !!! Due to me having cataracts my insurance paid 80% so I'll end up paying about $1,500 total for both eyes.

Which Dr. office did you use? Since you're in Arlington, I'm assuming Kleiman-Evangelista? If not, why not? That's who I plan on using.
